Costco Food Court Hot Dog & Pizza Calories (All Items) 2023
CAlories For Costco Food Court
Everybody loves the $1.50 Costco hot dog, but I often get asked, “How many calories are in a Costco Hot Dog?” or “How Many Calories in a Slice of Costco Pizza?“
Costco doesn’t make it easy to find the nutritional information for its food court menu, and maybe it’s for a good reason. The nutritional labels aren’t pretty (deep down, we already knew that), but if you really insist, here is the calorie and nutritional information for Costco’s food court pizza, its famous hot dog combo and the rest of the 2023 food court menu lineup.
I provide all the calorie and nutritional information for the Costco food court items:
- Churro
- Vanilla Ice Cream Cup & Sundaes
- Mocha Freeze & Latte Freeze
- Fruit Smoothie
- Hot Dog Combo
- Pepperoni and Cheese Pizza (Whole and Slice)
- Chicken Bake
Calories in Costco Churro
The Costco churro is back on the menu after a brief hiatus due to covid. The churro comes with a new price tag ($1.49 up from $1), increased size, refreshed ingredients, and more calories. Here is the calorie information for the butler and cinnamon churro from Costco.
Calories in Costco Ice Cream Sundae Cups
There are three different ice cream offerings from the Costco food court, all of which will have different nutritional profiles and calories. The plain cup of vanilla ice cream has the least calories, with the Chocolate sundae coming in with the highest amount of calories at 690.
Costco Vanilla Ice Cream Cup Calories
The vanilla ice cream is the food court’s basic ice cream offering. The ice cream will serve as the base for the chocolate sundae and berry sundae and will also have the least amount of calories among the three options coming in at 550 calories.
Calories in the Chocolate Sundae
The chocolate sundae is made with the vanilla ice cream base and swirled with chocolate sauce. It’s a standard chocolate syrup that adds some sugar and fats.
Calories in the Berry Ice Cream Sundae
The berry ice cream sundae may appear to be the healthier of the two sundae options as it does have lower calories and fat.Â
That’s great if you want to keep calories down, but the berry sundae has the highest sugar content of the three ice cream options at 77 grams per cup.
Cold Brew Mocha Freeze Calories
Coffee can be made as healthy or as unhealthy as you want, and Costco decided to go with the latter. The Costco cold brew mocha freeze is packed with calories and, more importantly, will have the highest sugar content of all of Costco food court menu options at 111 grams.
There are 97 grams of added sugar, or 194% of the daily recommended value.
Latte Freeze - No Nutritional Information Available
If you still want your coffee pick-me-up but are scared off by the Cold Brew Mocha Freeze’s sugar content, then you can give the latte freeze without added mocha a try.Â
This is available to order on the self-serve kiosk but isn’t on their listed menu, and no nutritional information is provided.
Berry Smoothie
The 16-ounce berry fruit smoothie might be the healthiest item that the Costco food court sells. It’s made with a blend of apple, pear, and pineapple juice mixed with real strawberries, blackberries, and acai. There are no added sugars and no artificial colors or flavors. Hard to beat that for $2.99!
There is a high amount of sugar in the fruit smoothie, but it does come from real fruits.
Costco Hot Dog Calories
Costco sells 150+ million hot dog combos a year, and everybody wants to know exactly how many calories are in a Costco hot dog. Are the hot dogs healthy, and what exactly is the caloric breakdown?Â
Because Costco sells these as a hot dog and soda combo, the only officially provided nutritional information is a combined nutritional label for both the hot dog and a 20oz soda. I broke down the calorie information below using the individual ingredients of the hot dog and bun. It should be extremely close to the nutritional label for just a hot dog from Costco with no soda.

Costco Pizza Calories - Pepperoni, Cheese, Whole Pizza, and Slices
Costco sells only two types of pizza, pepperoni or cheese, but will sell them as whole pizzas or by the slices. I have provided the calorie information for each pizza topping by the slice and as a whole pizza.
There are two things to note. First, a whole cheese pizza from Costco will be made with 24 ounces of a mozzarella provolone blend compared to the pepperoni’s 14 ounces.
Secondly, the whole pizza will be cut into 12 slices, which is smaller than individual Costco $1.99 pizza slices. The $1.99 slices will be 1/6th of a whole pizza and double the size of a slice of whole pizza from Costco.Â
I have provided the nutritional information and calories for both the $1.99 slice of Costco pizza and a slice of whole pizza purchased from Costco.

Remember, these slices are half the size of a $1.99 slice of pizza purchased directly from Costco food court.Â
Nutritional Information - Half and Half Pizza
The half pepperoni and half cheese Costco pizza isn’t listed on the menu but can be ordered at the counter or at a self service kiosk.Â
Costco Chicken Bake Calories
The covid pandemic has done quite a number to the Costco food court, especially their famous chicken bake. The chicken bake used to be made in-house daily but now gets shipped frozen. Here is the nutritional label and information for the Costco chicken bake.
