Costco Pizza Calories Revealed! Nutrition Information & Other FAQ
Costco Food Court Pizza - Where Is The Nutritional Information?
Costco does many things right with its food court, including great value, quick service, and providing a variety of options. But, one area where they can significantly improve is the visibility and accessibility of the food court menu nutritional information.
I often get asked questions like “How many calories are in a slice of Costco pizza?”, so I created this guide to make it quick and easy to get the calorie count and nutritional labels for Costco’s pizza and food court items.
Some Caloric Information Is Displayed On The Food Court Menu
I will give Costco credit for displaying the calorie count on their food court signage. For example, the Costco food court pizza sign clearly indicates that each slice contains 710 calories.
However, it is worth noting that the comprehensive nutritional information for the Costco pizza may not be as readily available or prominently displayed. In this article, I will give you all the calorie information for Costco pizza including the full nutritional label, so you no longer have to ask “How Many Calories are in Costco Pizza?”.
Costco Food Court Pizzas Options and Pricing
The Costco food court has a couple of different pizza options available for members, and of course, each option will have different caloric information.
While it may appear pretty straightforward how many calories are in each Costco pizza, there are some quirks in regard to pizza size.
Costco currently offers three pizza options, pepperoni, cheese, and half pepperoni half cheese. Costco’s half-and-half pizza isn’t listed on the food court menu but can be ordered through the self-order kiosk or at the counter. The half-and-half pizza is only available as a whole pizza pie.
The other Costco pizza options, pepperoni and cheese, can both be ordered as a slice or as a whole pie. A slice of Costco pizza costs $1.99, and a whole Costco pizza costs $9.95.
A Slice Vs. Whole Pizza - It's Tricky
Not All Costco Pizza Slices Are Equal
Before getting into the Costco pizza’s calorie count and nutritional information, it is important to address some misconceptions regarding the $1.99 individual slice of Costco pizza and the slices from the $9.95 whole Costco pizza.
It’s easy to assume that a slice from a whole Costco pizza would have the same calorie information as an individual slice from the food court, but this is not the case. In reality, the slice from a whole Costco pizza is cut smaller than the individual slices sold at the food court.
Individual Costco Pizza Slices Are Larger and Have More Calories Than Whole Costco Pizza Slices
While the individual slices do come from whole Costco pizzas, the difference lies in the number of slices cut from the pizza. A whole Costco pizza is divided into six large slices when sold individually. However, when sold as a whole pizza, the pie is cut into 12 slices, resulting in each slice from a whole Costco pizza being half the size of a slice from an individual pizza.
This distinction in slice size should be taken into account when considering the caloric content and nutritional information of Costco’s pizza.
Costco Half and Half Pizza Calories and Nutritional Information
There are 4080 Calories in a Costco Half and Half Pizza
A whole half and half pizza from Costco contains 4080 calories. The 4080 calories come from 162 grams of fat, 453 grams of carbohydrates, and 224 grams of protein.

Costco Pizza FAQ
Can You Customize Costco’s Pizza for Caloric Purposes?
Costco Doesn't Allow Ingredient Changes For Their Pizzas
Unfortunately, due to Costco’s food court policy, it’s not possible to make any customizations or changes to your pizza order. For efficiency’s sake, Costco standardizes the menu and essentially prohibits customization.
So if you want a little less cheese or a thinner crust, you are out of luck. This is great for keeping the cost of the food court pizza down and for making and baking them quickly, but it doesn’t allow you to make any adjustments to the nutritional profile or calorie count of the pizza.
What Is The Healthiest Costco Pizza Option?
This is a subjective question as there is no true healthiest pizza option at Costco. This will depend specifically on your diet and dietary needs, but they both have rather similar nutritional labels.
The Costco cheese pizza will contain more calories than the Costco pepperoni pizza, but also more protein. This is a trade-off that may work for some and not for others.
How Many People Can a Costco Pizza Feed?
A Whole Costco Pizza Can Feed 5 Adults
Determining how many people a whole Costco pizza can feed can be a bit tricky since appetites vary. On average, a whole Costco pizza is typically enough for about five adults. Each person usually eats around two slices, ensuring enough food for everyone.
If you plan on ordering Costco’s food court pizza for a party, I recommend taking a headcount, figuring out how many pizzas you’ll need, and then adding one or two extra. It’s not going to hurt to have a few extra pizza pies, and there’s nothing wrong with leftovers after the party.
If you want a little extra variety at your party instead of pizza, another great option is Costco’s catering menu. A sandwich platter or a large tray of shrimp cocktail will pair really nicely as finger foods with the pizza.
How Many Kids Can A Costco Pizza Feed?
A Whole Costco Pizza Can Feed 6-8 Kids
When it comes to kids, a whole Costco pizza can generally feed between 6 to 8 children, depending on their age and gender. Each child typically consumes about 1.5 to 2 slices. Again, just like when feeding adults, buy one or two extra pizzas. Consider it as insurance for only $9.95 a pizza.
How Big Is a Slice of Costco Pizza?
This is a tricky question, as there are two different sizes of Costco pizza slices. A pizza slice from a whole pizza will be double the size of the $1.99 individual slice.
An individual slice of pizza sold from Costco’s food court will weigh approximately 9.5 ounces, while a slice cut from a whole Costco pizza will weigh between 4.3 and 4.7 ounces, depending on the type of pizza (cheese or pepperoni).
Do I need a Costco membership to buy Costco Pizza?
Yes, you will need a membership to purchase Costco pizza from the food court.
Most food court locations are located inside the warehouse, and you will need to show your membership upon entry.
Some Costco food courts are located outside of the warehouse, and typically those will require you to show your membership card when ordering at the counter or scan your Costco card when ordering at the self serve kiosk.
