My beef (no pun intended) with the sliced brisket is that the slicers don’t observe the most rudimentary basics of cutting meat and that is it should be cut ACROSS the grain and not with the grain. Meat cut with the grain is stringy and tough. Most of the meat in these packages is cut with the grain and is like chewing leather.

The burnt brisket ends at Costco were originally offered as a Kirkland branded product. They were excellent. The Mission Hills Bistro brand replaced the Kirkland brand and they were still good, but a small step down from the original. Now the Kirkland brand is back, and they are bad. 20% fat, 20% liquid, no BBQ sauce, and just chopped up brisket, not burnt brisket ends.

Product was great, Our family really enjoyed the Mission Hill Burnt End Brand….but like a lot of items at Costco…once you start liking them, they stop selling them…sad
